On Friday, Haridwar experienced an important moment in history when Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna of Patanjali Healthcare opened the Patanjali Emergency and Critical Care Hospital. Baba Ramdev stated during the opening event, “Today we are turning a new leaf in the medical sciences.” He added, the goal of our hospital was to provide health care that is universal and accessible to everyone. “What we are talking about is democratic health care, where every patient gets their deserving services and treatment.”
