Here is how Pradeep Kumar created Slashsquare, an Indian blog network

Blogging is a popular medium to share and express your thoughts through words and media content.  A lot of people out there do this personally and a lot of people out there do this professionally as well. Here is the story of a guy who started this personally as a passion and is now professionally running a successful blog network called Slashsquare.

Meet Pradeep Kumar.

Pradeep Kumar has been blogging since his school days and started his first blog out of curiosity. Blogging for more than 10 years he recalls, “Back those days it was stimulating to me because I have to go to the Browsing Center, wait for a few minutes or an hour, then get a computer, open my blog and work. I was able to work in a dedicated way because I know my time was limited. I have to go back to my home, study, and go to school the next day.

Slashsquare Founder and CEO recommends, “The best way to keep yourself updated is to join relevant Blogging Facebook Groups and follow the official Twitter profiles of Google. Participate in Twitter Chats like #SEOTalk to get updated about the latest trends and stuff. The most important tip is, whenever you learn something new share that with a community and discuss that with the fellow members.”

Slashsquare is an Indian Blog Network and Web Consulting Media. They have blogs like HellBound Bloggers (HBB), MoviesDrop, DeviceBAR, TravelTear, FoodGravy, BookWritten, and so on. Pradeep officially started this network when he was in college. He realized he needed more than a single blog to share the topics he loves to discuss. He officially registered it as Slashsquare Media Private Limited.

Pradeep says anyone can start a blog but managing a blog is the tricky part. He adds, “At first I was okay with a single blog and writing about everything there. Then I realized this wouldn’t work in the long run. So, I decided to make a list of the topics I love learning. Then I brainstormed the blog names. I took a lot of time to finalize a blog/brand name because my mind is an insane monkey. But as I said the tricky part here is to manage all those blogs. You can’t launch all of them at the same time. Even if you do that you need to have a lot of content and content writers who can contribute content consistently. I was just a college student and I realized I couldn’t invest all my money into this. That’s when I decided to launch the social media profiles of each brand one by one. I decided to gain our audience first, then create a community, and learn/share new information. I finalized that I’ll start our blogs slowly with enough content. I loved this because I don’t want to complicate things along with my suffering education during my college days.”

It’s a challenge to run a blog network, but at the same time, you’ll get the golden opportunity to learn and share about so many things. Information is, undeniably, wealth.
