Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Saturday met senior Congress leader and former MP Shamsher Singh Dullo at the latter’s factory in Kaudi village of Khanna, a meeting that comes amid continuing discussions over internal developments within the Punjab Congress.
The meeting, held behind closed doors, lasted for around 45 minutes. While Captain Sandeep Singh Sandhu accompanied Warring, the detailed discussion was held exclusively between Warring and Dullo.

According to sources, the two leaders exchanged views on the party’s current organisational situation, measures to strengthen the Congress in Punjab and its future political strategy.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Warring described Dullo as “an institution” within the Congress and said every party worker and leader could benefit from his vast political experience. He said Dullo had remained committed to the Congress even during difficult phases and had played a significant role in strengthening the organisation.
