Vaibhav Gehlot, son of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, is all set to be elected president of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) unopposed as the rival candidate Giriraj Sanadhya withdrew his nomination papers on Friday evening.

This would be Vaibhav’s second term as the RCA President.

All rival candidates for the posts of Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary, and Executive Member have withdrawn their nomination papers, said the Election Officer Sunil Arora.

 As per the election schedule, the results would be announced in the AGM of RCA tomorrow, Arora said.

Others who will be elected unopposed are Ratan Singh and Shakti Singh as vice presidents, Bhawani Samota as Secretary, Rampal Sharma as Treasurer, Rajesh Bhadana as Joint Secretary, and Farooq Ahmed as Executive Member.
