In a brave act, a woman living alone in Telangana bravely fought off a masked robber who suddenly approached her and attempted to strike her with an iron rod.
The incident was recorded on CCTV that was put at her house. The robbery attempt happened early on Sunday in Vemulawada Town, Rajanna Sircilla District. On social media, the video of the woman and the thief’s interaction quickly attracted eyeballs.
The video depicts a stressful scene in which the woman bravely resists an armed thief who is about to strike her with an iron rod.

The video begins with a woman who is startled by her pet dog’s barking and is trying to figure out why. She sees a man waiting for her in a shadowy area, wearing a cap and a mask over his face. The skulking burglar is seen carefully positioning himself behind a wall and holding an iron rod that he had taken from the woman’s garden.
He immediately makes a frightening lunge at her, but she sees him and avoids the attack.
The alleged burglar doesn’t stop and charges ahead to attack the woman trying to enter the house once more. When she pulls on the curtain, it drops to the ground. She is heard yelling to get the neighbors’ attention. The man tries to stop her from talking, but he fails. After a brief scuffle in which he is unable to hurt the woman in any manner, the male flees. She later admitted to the police that he had snatched a 7-gram gold chain from her neck.
The woman is seen chasing the man while holding a rod in her hand that she throws at him.
The woman, a 40-year-old proprietor of a grocery store, lives alone in her house. Many people have admired the woman for her courageous act and have hailed her as an inspiration.
