Income Tax Department officials on Tuesday searched the residence here of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Chairman Lakshman for alleged tax evasion, an official said.
“Properties belonging to him (Lakshman) are being searched by tax officials since 7 a.m.,” the official told IANS here.

The raids were on at Lakshman’s residence in Sadashivanagar, an upscale suburb in Bengaluru, and other properties belonging to him, the official said.
