The swearing-in ceremony of the new BJP government will be held at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata on May 9.

Earlier, BJP sources indicated that the party might go ahead for a couple of deputy chief ministers, one of them being a woman, since the BJP has trounced Mamata Banerjee in the state.

Party sources further stated that Adhikari as chief minister as well as party veteran Dilip Ghosh and Agnimitra Paul as the two deputy chief ministers could be the working formula for the West Bengal government, at least, at this point in time.
