Miscreants pelted stones at the Dehradun-Delhi Shatabdi Express near Muzaffarnagar railway station here, damaging some window panes.

No one was injured in the incident which occurred yesterday after the train crossed the railway station, according to railway protection force.

The police has registered a case against unidentified people.

What began as an irreverent internet joke has acquired the unmistakable weight of a political movement.

Student groups and Opposition workers formed a sizeable crowd, but the promised procession towards Parliament never emerged as one organised march.
