Classic fear-mongering, should stop selling panic: BJP slams Rahul Gandhi over ‘economic tsunami’ remark
Despite facing multiple black swan events, India has continued to remain the world’s fastest-growing major economy, Amit Malviya said.
However, he cautioned the people of Bihar, saying that even by mistake, if they press a button other than the Lotus or Arrow symbols (the election symbols of the BJP and JD(U), Jungle Raj would return to Bihar in a new form.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday expressed confidence that the Congress and the RJD will be wiped out in the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections, paving the way for the formation of another NDA government.
However, he cautioned the people of Bihar, saying that even by mistake, if they press a button other than the Lotus or Arrow symbols (the election symbols of the BJP and JD(U), Jungle Raj would return to Bihar in a new form.

Addressing a series of election rallies in Valmikinagar, Motihari, and Madhubani, Shah announced that a medical college would be established in Ramnagar, West Champaran, and airports would be built in Madhubani and Valmikinagar.

Accusing the RJD and Congress of sheltering “infiltrators,” he alleged that if Lalu-Rahul came to power, they would set up a ‘Ghuspaitiya Board’ (Infiltrators’ Board) to protect them.
He said, “Lalu and Rahul welcome infiltrators. To protect them, Lalu’s son and Rahul go on yatras. I want to tell them, the NDA government will work to expel infiltrators not only from Bihar, but from across the country.”
At the rally in Valmikinagar, Shah promised to build a new airport in the district and a medical college in Ramnagar. He also pledged to revive the sugar mills that were shut down because of rampant extortion during the period of Jungle Raj.
Shah said that during the RJD’s Jungle Raj, criminals enjoyed political protection, while under the NDA government, criminals are behind bars and Bihar is safe.
Speaking at another public meeting in Motihari, the Home Minister said, “I have come here today to remind you that for ten years, Manmohan Singh’s government was in power, but he visited Bihar only five times. In contrast, Prime Minister Modi has visited Bihar 55 times during his ten years in office.
“Between 2004 and 2014, the Manmohan-Sonia government allocated only Rs2.8 lakh crore for Bihar, whereas PM Modi has sent Rs18.7 lakh crore to the state in the past ten years.”
He further said, “Recently, PM Modi and Nitish Kumar credited Rs10,000 each into the bank accounts of 1.41 crore Jeevika Didis. Lalu Yadav says he will take this Rs10,000 back from them. Today, I tell the Jeevika Didis, even if Lalu Yadav’s next four generations come, they will not be able to take back your Rs10,000.”
