The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat on Friday visited Dhankya village on the outskirts of Jaipur to pay tributes to the Jansangh/BJP ideologue Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

The Sarsanghchalak, who has been on 4-day sojourn in the state capital here since late Wednesday night, drove to Dhankya and paid floral tributes to the propounder and preacher of the principle of the “Ekstmak Manavwad” at his memorial in the village.

Bhagwat also viewed the exhibition of the life and deeds of Pundit Upadhyaya at the memorial held by Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Smriti Samaroh Samiti.

RSS Chief also held an informal interaction with members of the Samaroh Samiti.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Samaroh Samiti president Prof Mohan Lal Chipa, RSS state chief Dr Ramesh Agrawal and several dignitaries were present.
