Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said he would be tracked down and arrested from wherever he is hiding.
Former husband of Honeypreet, Vishwas Gupta, on Friday alleged that he was forcefully kept away from his wife after they were married, claiming the relation between Dera chief and his wife was certainly not that of father-daughter.
At a press conference in Chandigarh, Gupta alleged that Gurmeet Ram Rahim was still as influential even after being in jail.
According to media reports, Gupta said all decisions in the Dera are taken by Honeypreet and she wielded considerable influence on the Dera chief.

“In 2011, Dera chief had threatened to kill me and my life has been in danger since I got married to Honeypreet,” Gupta said.
Meanwhile, a social activist in Uttar Pradesh has announced a cash reward of Rs. 1 lakh for information on Honeypreet, who is on the run after the Dera head was convicted of rape.
Fakirelal Bhojbal has started a dharna before the office of the District Magistrate demanding the arrest of Honeypreet.
City Magistrate Prakash Srivastava said anyone can sit on a dharna. “Police has been informed and if there is anything unlawful it will act,” Srivastava said on being asked about the reward and posters of Honeypreet being pasted in city.
