Signs are not good over Congress view on inheritance tax: Rajnath Singh
Singh was addressing an election rally in Lakhimpur Kheri in support of the BJP candidate and Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra Teni.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who reached Srinagar on Wednesday, held discussions on J-K security situation with Governor NN Vohra at the Raj Bhavan. They discussed various issues related to security management, implementation of development programmes and positive engagement of the youth in the state.
The Governor also briefed the Home Minister about the ongoing Amarnath Yatra.
Rajnath Singh reached Srinagar along with a high-level delegation on Wednesday evening on a two-day visit of Jammu & Kashmir to review the security situation in the state.

This is Rajnath Singh’s first visit to the state after the BJP withdrew support to the Mehbooba Mufti government that necessitated imposition of Governor’s Rule for the fourth time in the last four years.
Singh is accompanied by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Joint Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir, Gyanesh Kumar and a few other officers of the MHA.
He was received at the Technical Airport by Advisers to the Governor BB Vyas, K Vijay Kumar and Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam, Director General of Police SP Vaid, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, Sehrish Asgar and senior officers of the paramilitary forces.
Rajnath is scheduled visit the Amarnath shrine on Thursday where he will pay obeisance and also take stock of the security situation.
Later in the day, he is scheduled to chair a high-level security review meeting where top Army brass, officials of the Jammu and Kashmir government and police, central paramilitary forces and intelligence agencies will be present.
