PM Modi’s 75th Birthday Gift: Launch of Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan to Strengthen Women’s Healthcare

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to celebrate his 75th birthday on September 17, he is set to launch a significant initiative aimed at empowering women and children through improved healthcare services. The Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan is a nationwide programme designed to provide better access to quality healthcare, promote health awareness, and support the government’s vision of inclusive healthcare.

BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda Monday, announced the launch of the Abhiyaan, which will feature 75,000 health camps across India, specifically targeting the healthcare needs of women and children. These camps will be organised at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centres (CHCs), and other healthcare facilities.

In addition to the health camps, Poshan Maah will be observed at all Anganwadis to promote nutrition, health awareness, and overall well-being. This initiative aims to build healthier families and empowered communities across the country.

Nadda appealed to private hospitals and healthcare stakeholders to join hands with the government in this Jan Bhagidaari Abhiyaan, emphasising the importance of collective efforts in achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat. “With ‘India First’ as our inspiration, let us strengthen our collective efforts for Viksit Bharat,” he said.

Interestingly, this initiative comes amid speculations about PM Modi’s retirement plans, with his 75th birthday sparking discussions about potential changes in his role. However, the government has not officially announced any plans regarding his future.

The launch of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan is seen as a significant step towards empowering women and promoting healthcare in India, aligning with the government’s focus on inclusive development and women’s empowerment.
