Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his parliamentary constituency for two days starting Friday. He will flag off the Vande Bharat train from Varanasi Railway Station, which will run between Varanasi and Khajuraho.

The PM will arrive at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport in Babatpur, Varanasi, on November 7 at around 5 PM. BJP City President Pradeep Agrahari stated here on Thursday that on November 8, Prime Minister Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train from Varanasi station, which will run between Varanasi and Khajuraho. The PM will also interact with 40 students inside coach number 7 of the train, meet the loco pilot, and address approximately 4,000 people at Varanasi station.

The BJP leader stated that Prime Minister Modi will receive a grand welcome at six locations on November 7 on his way to the Bereka guest house. Flowers will be showered at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur as well as by the residents of Kashi and with the BJP workers.

PM Modi will arrive directly at the Bareka Guest House by road. After that, he will meet with prominent figures and senior BJP leaders on the same day at the guest house. He will discuss development projects in Kashi. Senior district officials will also report on the ongoing development projects, including the ropeway and the international stadium being built in Ganjari. It is reported that he will also discuss the Dalmandi road widening and strengthening project.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will arrive in Kashi on Friday afternoon. Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar, General Manager of North Eastern Railway, and other railway officials will also be present on the occasion.

Divisional Commissioner S Rajalingam stated that the Prime Minister will also virtually flag off three other Vande Bharat trains. The Prime Minister’s address is also scheduled during the day.

The launch of the Vande Bharat Express train will boost religious tourism. The Vande Bharat train from Varanasi to Khajuraho will also connect Vindhyachal and Chitrakoot for the first time. Prime Minister Modi may visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Kaal Bhairav Temple for darshan and worship. Preparations are underway for this as well.

Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal stated that security guidelines have been issued after conducting a site inspection of the Varanasi Railway Station in preparation for the Prime Minister’s arrival. The station’s entry and exit gates have been inspected, and necessary guidelines have been issued for crowd control, barricading, and smooth traffic flow.

The Police Commissioner on Thursday inspected the parking area, VVIP entry, dropping zone, and surrounding areas, and directed for smooth traffic flow. The Police Commissioner also inspected the passenger security screening process, the functioning of metal detectors, and the deployment of dog squads at all entry gates of the Varanasi Railway Station in detail and issued necessary guidelines.
