The prime minister shared a short video along with the tweet in which he said: “Today is the birth anniversary of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj… He presented before us how the laboratory of nation building should be like 350 years ago.”
“Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been a source of inspiration for centuries and there can be no other Shivaji,” added Modi.
However, the prime minister urged all Indians to take inspiration from ‘Shivaji’ and at least become ‘sevaji’ by helping others and doing one good deed everyday.
“In order to fulfill the dream of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj of making India a great nation, we all must become Sevaji… Every Indian should do one good deed to help others everyday,” he said.
“This way we can relaise Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s dreams,” he added.
