Patanjali Gurukulam, Devprayag created history by winning the highest number of medals at the state-level Sanskrit Shastra competition. The winning students will now represent Uttarakhand at the national-level contests in Kanchipuram.

Patanjali Gurukulam, Devprayag has emerged as a shining centre of Sanskrit learning and Sanatan culture by achieving a historic victory at the state-level Shastra competitions. The Gurukulam outperformed cultural colleges and universities from across the state to become the institution with the highest number of medals.

The prestigious competition was organised by the Central Sanskrit University at its Devprayag campus. Students from Patanjali Gurukulam, Moolya Gram, Devprayag participated in 18 different events and delivered an exceptional performance. They secured first place in 11 competitions, second place in 4, and third place in 2. This marked one of the most impressive performances in the event’s history.

Through their remarkable success, students not just brought pride to Patanjali Gurukulam. But they also carried forward the mission of cultural preservation through Sanskrit. Their achievement has further highlighted Patanjali Gurukulam’s reputation as one of the leading institutions in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand for traditional education.

It is noteworthy that the students of Patanjali Gurukulam, Moolya Gram, Devprayag who secured first positions at the state level will now represent Uttarakhand at the national-level Shastra competitions to be held in Kanchipuram.

The occasion was marked by the presence of Sadhvi Devshruti, Principal of Patanjali Gurukulam Devprayag along with Sadhvi Devashrita and other respected teachers of the institution. They expressed pride in the students’ achievements and their dedicated efforts towards Sanskrit and Sanatan values.
