Nadda directs states to boost response measures against dengue, malaria

As the South West Monsoon advances deeper into the Indian subcontinent, Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, on Thursday, directed states and Union Territories to strengthen surveillance, vector-control measures and healthcare preparedness to tackle a possible rise in dengue and malaria cases, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

30 Students from Andaman & Nicobar Selected for Independence Day Cultural Tour

The delegation comprises 30 students from across the three districts of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands: North Andaman (Diglipur, Mayabunder, and Baratang), South Andaman (Sri Vijaya Puram), and the Nicobar group (including Car Nicobar, Kamorta and Campbell Bay). The selection included 15 boys and as many girls, all from higher secondary classes of various schools across the islands.

UP: EC issues show cause notices to 121 political parties

UP Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa said in relation to the show cause notice, the President/General Secretary of the party can submit their representation, affidavit and relevant documents along with the same to the office of Chief Electoral Officer, by August 21, and can personally present their side by appearing before the Chief Electoral Officer, during office hours on September 2 and 3.
