New Telangana CM Revanth Reddy hits the ground gunning, approves six poll guarantees on day 1

New Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has hit the ground running immediately after swearing-in on Wednesday and approved the six poll guarantees his Congress party promised.

On the very first day in office, CM Reddy signed two key files – one approving the implementation of six poll guarantees made by the Congress party before elections, and the other providing a job to a differently abled woman, TK Rajini, who had met him during the campaign and expressed her difficulty in finding employment.

Rajini has been given a job at the district collector’s office of her choice. She had met the Congress leader during the poll campaign in Nagarkurnool.

Rythu Bharosa: Under the Rythu Bharosa gaurantee, the state government will prove annual financial assistance to farmers.

Gruha Jyothi: The Congress party has promised to provide housing for the poor under the Gruha Jyoti scheme.

Indiramma Indlu: Named after former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Indiramma Indlu scheme will provide safe drinking water and sanitation facilities to rural households.
