Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav asserted on Saturday that new industrial projects are coming up in Madhya Pradesh every other day, offering new job opportunities to the youth.
He noted that continuing this momentum, new industries involving an investment of Rs 2,000 crore will be established in Badiyakhedi, Sehore. The CM made these comments while addressing the public at the Bhoomi Pujan and Letter of Intent distribution ceremony for new industrial units in Badiyakhedi.
The CM pointed out that a place whose name is ‘Badiya’khedi is certain to have all ‘badiya’ (good) things.
Dr Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s role in the world is becoming increasingly significant in this changing era. “India, once called the ‘Golden Bird’, is now roaring like a ‘Golden Tiger”, the CM emphasised.
He said that with the spirit of ‘India First’, Prime Minister Modi is preparing both farmers and industrialists to compete globally.
CM Dr Yadav acknowledged the challenges in setting up industries and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting industrialists in every possible way. He said that the government is offering special incentives to encourage the establishment of employment-generating industries in the state.
“The goal is to ensure that the youth of Madhya Pradesh do not need to migrate elsewhere for employment,” he emphasised, adding that the state government will provide subsidies to industries for a period of 10 years — Rs 6,000 per month for women workers and Rs 5,000 per month for male workers.
Chief Minister Dr Yadav announced that a state-level agriculture fair will be organised in Sehore from October 12 to 14, attracting participation from industrialists, farmers, and experts from across the country. He reiterated the government’s aim to make Madhya Pradesh the leading state in agriculture and dairy production.
The CM also said that each development block in the state is being developed into a ‘Vrindavan Gram’, and efforts are underway to develop the ‘Shri Krishna Path’. He highlighted that the state’s irrigation area has now surpassed 52 lakh hectares. Innovations are being carried out in health, education, agriculture, and tourism. Other states are adopting MP’s air ambulance model, and vehicles for transporting deceased persons have been provided to assist the poor in several districts. Special schemes are also being implemented for farmers’ welfare and women’s empowerment.
