MP CM expresses grief over demise of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Dr Yadav paid humble tributes to the late Pawar and prayed to Baba Mahakal for eternal peace for the departed soul.

The Chief Minister said that Ajit Pawar was a grassroots leader of Maharashtra with a generous public image. He discharged the responsibilities of several important departments in different governments with full dedication and made an invaluable contribution to the development of Maharashtra. He always remained devoted to the welfare of the poor, deprived, and backward sections of society.

In a message issued on Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that the aircraft accident that occurred during an attempted landing at Baramati Airport in Maharashtra was heart-rending. Information has been received that Ajit Pawar, along with five other persons, lost their lives in the accident.

Chief Minister Dr Yadav noted that Ajit Pawar was a close friend, and his death has left his mind distressed and filled with pain. He said that Pawar’s sudden departure has left everyone in shock and disbelief.

In this moment of grief, the Government of Madhya Pradesh stands with the supporters and bereaved family members of Shri Ajit Pawar.

The Chief Minister prayed to Baba Mahakal for peace to the souls of all those who lost their lives in the plane accident and for strength to the grieving families to bear this immense sorrow.
