Speaking in Indore, Singhar said that the expenditure incurred on the Chief Minister and his delegation’s tour is public money.
“The people of the state have the right to know the cost of the CM’s tour and the amount of investment he has brought back for the state,” he demanded.

“CM Dr Yadav must also inform the State Assembly about the tour expenses and its outcomes in terms of investment,” he added.
Singhar also criticised the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) arrest of Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, in connection with the alleged ₹2,100 crore liquor scam, calling the arrest illegal and unconstitutional.
“The arrest of Baghel’s son is illegal and against the law. The voice of the people and dissent are being suppressed across the country. The BJP is harassing the families of our leaders, including Bhupesh Baghel and Rahul Gandhi,” Singhar told reporters.
“The BJP wants to end democracy in the country,” he alleged.
The ED arrested Chaitanya Baghel on 18 July under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and secured a five-day remand from a court in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
