On Sunday, he paid an unannounced visit to the Patna residence of JD(U) National Working President Sanjay Kumar Jha. During the interaction, Nitish Kumar appeared relaxed yet focused. Before leaving, he told Sanjay Jha in the presence of the media, “Everything is fine. Please come to my house at 10:30. I want to talk to you.”

Shortly before this, Nitish Kumar had also unexpectedly summoned senior JD(U) leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary to his residence for a meeting.

His visit to Sanjay Jha’s residence immediately after a lengthy discussion with Vijay Choudhary has fuelled speculation about a possible organisational reshuffle within the JD(U). It has also led to speculations that key discussions are underway regarding the party’s future political and organisational strategy.

Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said the party believes a strong organisation is the foundation of public service and development-oriented politics.

He added that under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, the party has established a strong foundation of good governance, social justice, and development in Bihar, and the upcoming meeting will play an important role in further strengthening those achievements.
