SAU extends last date for submission of online application
The University will now accept applications till the midnight of 10th April.
GATE 2019: The online registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will start today, September 1. Candidates can apply for the exam on the official website, gate.iitm.ac.in
Candidates should note that the last date to submit the application form is September 21.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will conduct the GATE entrance exam this year.

Steps to apply for GATE 2019 examination:
STEP 1 Go to the official website, http://gate.iitm.ac.in/
Step 2 Register yourself as a new user using a valid email ID and mobile number
Step 3 Log in to your account using your enrollment ID and password
Fill in all the required details and upload photograph, signature and complete the payment process
Step 4 Submit application and take a print out for future reference.
The application fee for general candidates is Rs 1500 and for women/SC/ST/Pwd candidates is Rs 750.
Fees for International candidates is USD 50.

The application process for GATE 2019 begins: September 1
Last date to apply for GATE 2019: September 21
The extended closing date for submission of (Online) application: October 1
Last date for change of examination city (an additional fee will be applicable): November 16
Admit cards available: January 4, 2019
Gate 2019: February 2, 3 and February 9, 10, 2019 (9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm)
Result declaration: March 16, 2019
