Coaching centre fire: 43 coaching institutes and three hotels sealed in UP
Police, Fire officials, and district authorities have conducted raids on coaching institutes and hotels across the state.
The special MP-MLA Court of Prayagraj has convicted former Samajwadi Party MLA Vijay Mishra in a 46-year-old murder case on Tuesday. The Court will announce the quantum of sentence against the four accused tomorrow.

Judge Yogesh Kumar( third) convicted Vijay Mishra along with Jeet Narayan, Santram, and Balram in the case related to the murder of 35-year-old Prakash Narayan Pandey in the court premises on February 11, 1980.

Prakash Narayan Pandey, a University student, had come to the district court to seek bail in a case filed against him. He had a running feud with Santram and Balram. It is alleged that Santram, Balram, Vijay Mishra, and Jeet Narayan shot and killed him. Five others were also shot during the firing.

The deceased’s elder brother, Shyam Narayan Pandey, filed an FIR at the Colonelganj police station.
ADG Criminal Sushil Kumar Vaish and Special Public Prosecutor Virendra Kumar Singh strongly argued the case while advocate Tarachandra Gupta and other lawyers presented the defence on behalf of Vijay Mishra.
