Kerala: Austrian female tourists booked for tearing pro-Palestine posters
The Fort Kochi police booked the tourists under Section 153 for deliberate provocation with intent to cause a riot.
The Election Commission on Wednesday announced biennial election to Rajya Sabha for three seats from Kerala will be held on June 21.
The vacancies will be created due to retirement, on July 1, of Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman P.J. Kurien of the Congress, Joy Abraham of Kerala Congress-Mani and C.P. Narayanan of the Communist Party of India-Marxist.
According to the poll schedule, the notification will be issued on June 4. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on June 12 and the last date of withdrawal of candidates is June 14.

The counting of votes will take place after the election.
