ECI has banned AAP’s campaign song, alleges Atishi
Addressing a press conference here, Atishi said according to the ECI, the song ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se Denge’ shows the ruling party (BJP) and investigation agencies in a bad light.
An Election Commission of India (ECI) delegation will start a two-day visit to Assam from Tuesday.
Their agenda includes meetings with officials, political parties, and organisations to solicit inputs on the forthcoming national elections. Additionally, discussions will be held with state police regarding security arrangements.
Simultaneously, the state administration has appealed to the ECI to conduct the elections prior to the Bohag Bihu festival.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has also requested for this timing, believing it would foster a more festive and participative electorate.
Both the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary Paban Borthakur will emphasise this request during the ECI team’s visit.
