According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, this Dharma Dhwaj represents dignity, unity, and civilisational continuity and is considered a symbol of the ideals of Ramrajya. It was installed on the top of the temple, which is built in the traditional North Indian Nagara style.
The approximately 800-metre-long parakota wall is built in the South Indian style, reflecting the architectural diversity of the temple complex.
The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted amid highly enthusiastic devotees and was seen as another historic chapter following the completion of the temple construction.
