Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena led mid-night raids at the premises of a milk food processing unit in the Mahuwa region of the Dausa district on Sunday night and unearthed the making of chemicalised synthetic milk and its processing into artificial products.
In the surprise midnight raid, Meena conducted an inspection of the entire factory premises in the presence of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dausa Dr Sitaram Meena and other officials. The authorities found a huge stock of synthetic milk made by using urea and some other harmful chemicals.

A number of drums of harmful chemicals believed to have been used in making of artificial milk products were also found concealed in the bran and fodder stocks.
Milk and milk products made in such a hazardous process and using harmful material is a serious crime against human lives.
The minister directed officials to collect samples and ensure due testing. Meena also telephoned Dausa Collector Devendra Kumar and Superintendent of Police Sagar Rana to inform them of the situation and asked them to take due action against the factory.
Meena is well known for conducting sudden inspections on units or sale outlets of agro fertilisers, grain mandi yards, food grain godowns. Monday, November 3 being his birthday, he opted to celebrate his Big Day in a proactive way.
