Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra and offered his humble tributes.
Sharing his message on social media account , the Chief Minister wrote, “My condolences are with the bereaved family. I pray to Lord Shri Ram to grant salvation to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense loss.”

Vijay Kumar Malhotra, senior BJP leader and the first president of the Delhi BJP, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 94. He had been undergoing treatment at AIIMS, New Delhi, for the past few days and breathed his last at around 6 am this morning.
A veteran leader, Prof. Malhotra played a significant role in expanding the RSS ideology in Delhi since the Jan Sangh era and made notable contributions to the party’s growth in the national capital.
