Jammu and Kashmir: Army’s rescue operation in flood-hit Rajouri saves 11 civilians
Among the 11 rescued persons, five were children. They were stranded at different places in the flood-affected district following incessant rainfall.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will present the Jammu and Kashmir Budget for 2026-27 in the Assembly on 6 February.
The calendar for the budget session was released on Monday by the Speaker, Abdul Rahim Rather. The session begins here on 2 February with the address of Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha.

The session that ends on 4 April will have 23 sittings. Four days at the fag end of the session have been fixed for private members’ bills.
Two days have been fixed for government business.
