A man was arrested after a live bullet was seized from him during checking when he went to visit Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Monday morning.
The man, identified as Imran, was among the Muslim clerics who had gone to the chief minister with a request to increase the salary by the Waqf Board, news agency ANI reported.
According to the police, Imran said he found the bullets in the donation of a mosque, kept it in his wallet and later forgot about it.

The man has been arrested under the Arms Act and the police are investigating the matter.
A week before, a man was arrested after he threw chilli powder on Kejriwal outside the chief minister’s chamber in Delhi Secretariat.

According to media reports, a man entered the secretariat with chilli powder in a matchbox. Kejriwal’s spectacles reportedly broke in the attack and he was immediately rushed to doctors as the chilli powder got into his eyes.
The accused, Anil Sharma (40), a resident of Naraina, was been booked on charges of criminal intimidation, obstructing public servant, causing hurt to deter public servant and assault or criminal force on public servant under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lambasted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the NDA government at the Centre over the attacks on him in the last three years.

Speaking in the Delhi Assembly on Monday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief said that he has been attacked four times in the last three years but no action has been taken against his attackers involved in the incidents. The Delhi CM also said that the attacks on him are attacks on Delhi as he is a common man elected by the people.
“I have been attacked four times in the last three years. I have no standing; I am an insignificant man. I was attacked because the people of Delhi made a common man the Chief Minister. The attacks have not been made on me but the people of Delhi,” Kejriwal said.
