TMC delegation detained by Delhi Police
10 Trinamul Congress leaders were detained by Delhi Police while they were protesting outside the office of the Chief Election Commissioner this afternoon.
The deceased appears to be around 40 to 45 years of age. The body has been sent to the mortuary of a hospital for post-mortem. Efforts are on to identify the deceased.
Dead body of a man lying under suspicious circumstances in a drain located in the area of Budh Vihar, Rohini District, has been recovered in decomposed condition by the police on Saturday.
According to a police source, the deceased appears to be around 40 to 45 years of age. The body has been sent to the mortuary of a hospital for post-mortem. Efforts are on to identify the deceased.
As per police, no external injury mark was seen on the body of the deceased. The police are waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the reason behind death. An inquest proceeding has been initiated into the matter.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Rohini District said that a PCR call was received at Vijay Vihar Police Station on December 31, at 11.14 am, regarding the dead body.
The staff of the local police station immediately rushed to the spot located near Lal Mandir. At the spot, it was found that a dead body of an unknown male was lying in the Budh Vihar Drain, in a decomposed condition.
After initial inspection of the spot, the dead body was taken out from the drain and sent to the mortuary. Apparently, on the inspection, no external injury was seen.
Police are making efforts to identify the deceased.
