The Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Board results, for both first and second year students, were declared together on the same date last year.
A total of 4,57,292 had appeared in the Inter II exam held from 1 March to 19 March, 2018. The total number of students who appeared in Inter I exam was 5,23,837.

The overall pass percentage for the AP Board Inter II exams in 2016 was 73.78% with 64.02% being the overall score for boys and 72.09% for girls. In 2017, the overall pass percentage dipped by almost 5% and the percentage was 68.02%. The AP Inter-II boys scored 64.03% while girls scored better than boys and managed to score 66.91% overall.
