Rajasthan CM seeks faster rail link revival for Pachpadra oil refinery

The Ministry of Railways has approved the regular operation of Train No. 19022/19021 Brahmapur–Surat (Udhna)–Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express to enhance long-distance connectivity across Western, Central, and Eastern India.
The new train service is expected to boost economic and industrial mobility by linking mineral, textile, and trade hubs, thereby supporting business activities and workforce movement.

Train No. 19022 Brahmapur–Surat (Udhna) Amrit Bharat Weekly Express will depart from Brahmapur every Monday at 23:45 hrs, starting 6th October, and arrive at Udhna at 08:45 hrs on Wednesday.

On its return journey, Train No. 19021 Surat (Udhna)–Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Weekly Express will depart from Udhna every Sunday at 07:10 hrs, starting 5th October, and reach Brahmapur at 13:55 hrs the following day.
The train will halt at major stations including Palasa, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Raipur, Nagpur, Bhusaval, and Nandurbar. Other stoppages in both directions include Srikakulam, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Sungarpur Road, Muniguda, Kesinga, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Lakholi, Durg, Gondia, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Malkapur, Jalgaon, Dharangaon, Amalner, Sindkheda, Dondaicha, Navapur, Vyara, and Bardoli.
The Amrit Bharat Express will feature modern LHB coaches to enhance passenger comfort. The 22-coach rake will comprise 11 General Second Class coaches, 8 Sleeper Class coaches, 2 Second Class cum Luggage/Divyangjan coaches, and 1 Pantry Car.
This service is expected to benefit thousands of passengers by offering a safe, comfortable, and affordable travel option while strengthening connectivity between Eastern and Western India.
The Amrit Bharat Express represents a significant step in advancing long-distance rail connectivity. With its modern design, cost-effective fares, and improved passenger amenities, it will particularly benefit middle-class travelers who rely on economical options, while contributing to regional development and people-centric growth.
