COVID-19 case detected in Varanasi; patient admitted to BHU Hospital with breathing difficulties
Following a new COVID-19 case in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, the health department has appealed to the public to remain vigilant.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Kashi on Saturday to review the preparations for bilateral talks between Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 11.
Officials held a meeting at Varanasi airport on Thursday regarding the security arrangements.

According to administrative sources, the Deputy Protocol Officer of the Ministry of External Affairs was also present in this meeting. A team of officials visited Hotel Taj in Nadesar and took stock of the preparations.

Adityanath is likely to reach Varanasi on Saturday when the district administration will give detailed information about the preparations related to the visit of Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister of Mauritius is likely to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple and also attend Ganga Aarti. However, information about his minute-to-minute program is not yet available.
