Congress has fielded renowned lawyer Abhishek Singhvi as its candidate for the Rajya Sabha from Himachal Pradesh.

Congress President Malikarjun Kharge on Wednesday approved Singhvi’s candidature, setting at rest the speculations over the nomination of former Congress president Sonia Gandhi from Himachal Pradesh.

She has already filed her nomination from Rajasthan.
