Italian Open: Swiatek storms past Sabalenka to reach final

Iga Swiatek has now won 39 of her last 40 sets, and her incredible winning streak now stands at 27 matches. She is now tied with Serena Williams for the century's fourth-longest winning streak. From the 2014 WTA Finals to the 2015 Madrid Open, Williams won 27 matches.

Top seed Swiatek, Raducanu headline field for Italian Open

The draw, which was released late on Friday, had world No.1 Iga Swiatek headlining the field. Swiatek could face 16th seed Victoria Azarenka of Belarus in the tournament's Round of 16, while 10th seed Emma Raducanu of the United Kingdom could face fifth seed Anett Kontaveit of Estonia.

After Wimbledon, Italian Open might also ban Russian players: Report

The best of players from all across the globe come to take part in the Italian Open played at the outdoor clay courts of Foro Italico.  However, the report said that Italian authorities "are reportedly weighing up whether a ban should be imposed on Russian players" at the tournament.
