Rajinikanth and Dhanush cast votes in Chennai in Lok Sabha elections
Actor Dhanush and Superstar Rajinikanth exercise their franchise in Chennai during the Lok Sabha elections, joining the electoral fervor in Tamil Nadu.
Karthik Subbaraj and Rajinikanth are all set for a collaboration for a Tamil film. It is going to be Karthik’s fifth film in which he is casting the huge star of the entertainment industry.
According to the latest buzz on the untitled film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is likely to make his debut in the Tamil industry with Rajinikanth. Nawazuddin will play an antagonist in the film.
Apparently, Karthik was in Mumbai and he expressed his desire to cast Nawazuddin. Back in 2016, Karthik praised Siddiqui’s performance in Raman Raghav 2.0 and even asked him if he would be interested in doing Tamil films.

Nawazuddin’s manager, however, said on Tuesday (April 10) there was no such plan at the moment. “If it was true it would be great, but no, there is nothing like this happening.”
Karthik Subbaraj, on the other hand, said he had not yet decided on the cast of the film. The only facts known for the film are that Sun Pictures will produce it and Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music.
Rajinikanth is currently busy with 2.0 and Kaala. Film 2.0 is a sci-fi thriller directed by Shankar. The film also features Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles. Kaala is a crime-drama directed by Pa Ranjith. In this film, Huma Qureshi and Nana Patekar will be seen with Rajinikanth.
Siddiqui will be seen next in romantic thriller Genius, which is slated to release in August 2018.
