In a surprising twist that has fans buzzing, Bollywood actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and acclaimed filmmaker Raj Nidimoru have quietly tied the knot. The couple’s intimate wedding took place at the Ling Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore attended by only around 30 close friends and family.
While rumours of their relationship had been circulating for months, the official confirmation of the wedding has now captured national attention shining a spotlight on the man behind some of India’s most popular streaming hits.

Raj Nidimoru is one half of the celebrated filmmaking duo Raj & DK. He was born in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Later he moved to the United States early in his career where he partnered with Krishna DK.

Together Raj & DK developed a unique filmmaking style.
The duo first gained critical attention with films like ‘Flavors’, ’99’, ‘Shor in the City’. Later movies like ‘Go Goa Gone’ and their story development for ‘Stree’ made them a prominent duo.
Their work in streaming most notably ‘The Family Man’ starring Manoj Bajpayee and ‘Farzi’ featuring Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi brought them nationwide fame. Recently, Raj’s global project ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ brought him into creative collaboration with Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Raj had previously been married to Shhyamali De; the couple divorced in 2022.
The actress and filmmaker first met on a professional note. This was when Samantha joined the cast of ‘The Family Man 2’. The collaboration went smoothly. But it was during their work on ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ that the pair reportedly grew closer.
