Rashmika Mandanna admits she was ‘really scared’ before saying yes to ‘Cocktail 2’
She had built her career on intense, emotional roles. Diya was none of that. Rashmika knew the risk, she knew fans might raise eyebrows, and she took the leap anyway.
“From the very first time I heard it, something about it just stuck.. It’s soft, it’s emotional, it’s that kind of melody you hum without realising and now it’s yours,” she wrote.

The video of ‘Nadhive’ shows Rashmika sharing screen space with co-star Deekshith Shetty, dancing and acting through moments that feel intimate and warm.
Talking about filming the sequence, Rashmika added, “I remember feeling like I was inside a little film within the film while shooting this. Every frame felt like a memory, something frozen in time. Let me know if it makes your heart a little fuller.”
The song has been released in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Before ‘Nadhive’ officially dropped, Rashmika had already hinted at something special coming up. A day before the release, she posted a playful note that read, “You know that feeling when your heart is racing, your hands are shaking, and your cheeks hurt from smiling? That’s me right now! Because something very, very special is on its way… #DearDiary.”
‘The Girlfriend’ is directed and written by Rahul Ravindran, an actor-turned-filmmaker. Cinematography is handled by Krishnan Vasant, while Chota K Prasad is in charge of the editing.
