‘Kalamkaval’ teaser: When the villain looks like a hero and the hero chases him, cinema becomes thrilling. That is exactly what Malayalam fans are waiting for as Mammootty gears up for his next big film, ‘Kalamkaval’.

After taking a short break, the actor is returning with a crime drama that already has people buzzing. What makes this project special is not just Mammootty’s presence, but also the fact that he is reuniting with actor Vinayakan. The two last worked together more than a decade ago in ‘Best Actor’ (2010).

The film is directed by newcomer Jithin K Jose, the writer of Dulquer Salmaan’s hit ‘Kurup’.

The teaser begins with a simple but sharp question: ‘“Neenge Aru? (Who are you?)”’ That question sets the mood for the mystery. We then see Vinayakan as the determined officer searching for a man named Nathu.

Slowly, the camera shifts to reveal Mammootty. His presence fills the frame with sharp suit, piercing look, and a devilish energy.

‘Kalamkaval’ is produced under Mammootty’s own banner, Mammootty Kampany, which has already delivered strong films in recent years. The story is reportedly inspired by real-life events, though the details are being kept under wraps.

Alongside ‘Kalamkaval’, he is also working on ‘Patriot’, a big film co-starring none other than Mohanlal. The thought of two superstars sharing the screen has already set the industry buzzing.
