In the viral Instagram post, Jr NTR is seen facing away from the camera inside a gym, showing off a heavily chiselled back and pumped-up biceps. The buzz around ‘Dragon’ is not just about fitness transformations. The film is reportedly shaping up as a large-scale action saga with a strong emotional core.
Industry reports suggest that Bollywood star Anil Kapoor and actor Biju Menon are also part of the cast.
As per early synopsis details, the story will move across different timelines and focus on deeply connected lives caught in emotionally intense situations.
One major timeline mentioned is set in 1969, in a region where the borders of India, China, and Bhutan meet, the so-called Golden Triangle zone.
Sources also suggest that the next shooting schedule for ‘Dragon’ will begin soon. However, the makers are still keeping most of the details tightly under wraps.
Before ‘Dragon’ even hits the floor in full force, Jr NTR has already made waves in Hindi cinema. He recently made his Bollywood debut with ‘War 2’, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Hrithik Roshan.
The film continues the franchise that began with ‘War’ in 2019 and also features Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana, and Anil Kapoor in key roles.
The storyline of ‘War 2’ follows Kabir Dhaliwal, a former RAW agent who turns rogue and becomes a major national security threat. A special unit officer, Vikram Chelapathi, then has to track him down and neutralise him.
Meanwhile, in Telugu cinema, Jr NTR last appeared in ‘Devara: Part 1’, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko. The film revolves around Devara, a coastal village chieftain, locked in a violent conflict with his rival Bhaira over arms smuggling through the Red Sea. Reports also suggest that work on the second part of the duology will begin soon.
