Pineapple on pizza? Ileana D’Cruz says ‘yes, we like it’ and refuses to care about the judgment
One homemade pizza, one controversial topping, and suddenly the internet has opinions again. Ileana D’Cruz is happily enjoying her sweet-and-salty slice, and she’s not changing it for anyone.
Some food debates never end, like tea vs coffee, sweet vs spicy… and the most dramatic one of all: pineapple on pizza. Now, actor Ileana D’Cruz has jumped right into the controversy and she’s not holding back. Her message? Judge all you want… she’s still eating it!
The actress recently shared a peek into her cozy “homemade pizza night” on Instagram Stories, and fans quickly noticed something… unusual. The pizza had pepperoni and pineapple. This is a combination that has divided the internet for years.

No explanations, no apologies. Just confidence and cheese. The post instantly felt like a fun, lighthearted clapback to food purists.
Beach dreams and tan goals
This playful food confession comes just days after Ileana shared her longing for beach life. On March 25, the actress posted a series of throwback-style images showing her near the sea.
First, she shared a picture walking toward the waves with the caption, “Need this.” Then came another photo of her floating peacefully in water: “And so much of this.”
She followed it up with a stunning shot in a purple bikini, writing, “Honestly happiest on a beach, salty hair tanned skin.”
But the mood shifted slightly in her final post, which showed her sitting at home. The caption read, “Most definitely need a tan.”
From debut to Bollywood success
Beyond her pizza preferences and beach cravings, Ileana has had a long journey in cinema. She made her screen debut in 2006 with the Telugu romantic drama ‘Devadasu’.
She went on to appear in popular films like ‘Pokiri’, ‘Jalsa’, ‘Kick’, and ‘Julayi’. Then she also featured in the Tamil film ‘Nanban’.
Her Hindi film entry came in 2012 with ‘Barfi!’, directed by Anurag Basu. The performance helped her gain recognition in Bollywood. She later starred in commercially successful films like ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’, ‘Happy Ending’, ‘Mubarakan’, ‘Pagalpanti’, along with thrillers ‘Rustom’ and ‘Raid’.
She explained that it took her time to understand that these feelings are natural and part of the process of raising children. “Slowly I’ve realised it’s okay to have those feelings," she said.
Actress Ileana D'Cruz took to social media to share a lighthearted look at her kitchen struggles, revealing a messy stove that left her followers amused.
