"Chamkila" is based on the true story of Amar Singh Chamkila, 27, and his singing partner Amarjot's assassination along with two band members on March 8, 1988.
Actor Randeep Hooda is currently gearing up for his upcoming crime thriller ‘CAT’. The actor on Friday unveiled the new motion poster and release date for his upcoming film.
Taking to Instagram, Randeep wrote: “We’ve got some purrrrr-fect news! Watch Randeep Hooda as Gurnam in CAT – a gripping tale of brotherhood, espionage and more, releasing on 9th Dec only on Netflix.#CAT #CATOnNetflix.”

Helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, Rupinder Chahal, and Jimmy Singh, ‘CAT’ is a crime thriller set against the backdrop of the Punjab hinterlands. In the series, Randeep will be seen essaying the role of an undercover spy.
The series will release on Netflix on December 9, 2022. Meanwhile, unveiling the first teaser, Netflix wrote, “What happens when your love for a brother makes you go down a dark path you thought you had left behind? Watch the gripping tale of espionage in CAT, coming soon, only on Netflix!”
Balwinder, who has previously penned films such as Saand Ki Aankh and Mubarakan, has co-directed the show with Rupinder Chahal and Jimmy Singh.
CAT is produced by Movie Tunnel Productions in association with Jelly Bean Entertainment.
