Peter Dinklage joins ‘Wicked’ cast for musical adaptation

Game of Thrones is indeed the most popular show and it’s every episode is awaited eagerly by fans. HBO announced the eighth season as the final one which would air in 2019. The makers are taking their time to make it a perfect ending so as not to disappoint the viewers.
Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister on the show, explained why it is the perfect time to end the show. “It’s time, story wise, not just for all our lives. It’s the perfect time to end it. Sometimes shows stay on a little too long, the jumping-the-shark thing,” the actor was quoted by Variety.
“Peter is a constant on the show and we are happy George RR Martin did not decide to kill him off too. Tyrion has been one of the favourites on the show and though he belongs to the Lannister family, he is loved by the fans,” he said.

He expressed his feeling for the show end and said, “It’s bittersweet when it’s time to move on with everything.”
Peter added,” It’s always the sad part of our business, because you get pockets of great people for short amounts of time and then you have to move on and it’s always heartbreaking, especially when you’ve spent more than a couple months with people.” Watch the interview here.
The last season will be aired in 2019, though the date isn’t announced yet the actor confirmed that they are done filming half of the season. The creators of the show David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have already revealed that it would be a bittersweet ending.
