“There’s a lot to learn from him whenever I record with him. Thoda aur is I think our 14th or 15th song together. I hope that we get the same love and appreciation from the audience,” she added.

Ranchi Diaries, the first production by Anupam Kher, follows the story of “Gudiya”, played by debutante Soundarya Sharma and her friends, Taaha Shah and Himansh Kohli, who are out to make it big in a small town (Ranchi).

Releasing on October 5, Ranchi Diaries is a slice-of-life comic small-town tale. It also features Jimmy Shergill, Harry Bala and Pradeep Singh.

Talking about Thoda aur, Muchhal said: “It is a beautiful song and I have sung it with all my heart and I hope that people are able to connect with it.”

She feels fortunate to have sung for so many actresses.

“When I started doing playback, I had a long list of actresses who I wanted to sing for and almost all the actresses are done from my list. There’s one actress who I really want to sing for and that’s Alia Bhatt,” the singer said.

She has recorded something for Alia as well.

“It is going to come out soon and I’m really excited,” Muchhal added.
