Tamasha anniversary: Celebrating Deepika Padukone’s iconic role as Tara
'Tamasha' (2015), directed by Imtiaz Ali, is a psychological coming-of-age drama that explores the complexities of self-identity through the lives of Ved and Tara.
The much-loved television show Naagin actress Mouni Roy will soon make her Bollywood debut opposite to Akshay Kumar in Gold.
Up next, Mouni has been roped in for Ayan Mukerji’s drama Brahmastra, starring with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Mouni will play a negative role in this film. After completing the shoot of her debut film Gold, Mouni will start preparing for Ayan Mukerji’s movie.
She will be playing the antagonist in the film while Ranbir Kapoor will be playing a superhero whose love interest is Alia Bhatt. The film Brahmastra has a lot of plot twists and sci-fi elements in it which makes it a much-awaited film.

Mouni Roy came on board in October and will start shooting early this year. For now, the director Ayan is keeping other details of her role in the film under wraps.

The star cast of the film will start the shooting in early February. Karan Johar recently shared an image of Ranbir, Alia, and Ayan on his twitter handle when they were in Israel for preparations of the film.
Karan Johar production is set to be a trilogy and the first part will be out in the year 2019.
