Geraldine Viswanathan joins Marvel’s star-studded anti-hero lineup
Ayo Edebiri of "The Bear" had to bow out of the project due to scheduling conflicts, paving the way for Viswanathan to bring her own unique flair to the character.
The movie will bring together several anti-heroes from the MCU, including Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) from ‘Black Widow’.
Ayo Edebiri has joined Marvel Studios’ anti-hero team-up film ‘Thunderbolts’ in an unspecified capacity.
The film is directed by Jake Schreier from a script by Eric Pearson. As with every Marvel Studios production, Kevin Feige is producing this movie as well. ‘Thunderbolts’ is to debut on July 26, 2024.
The movie will bring together several anti-heroes from the MCU, including Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) from ‘Black Widow,’ Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), John Walker (Wyatt Russell) from ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,’ and Ghost from ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ (Hannah John-Kamen).

As per Louis-Dreyfus, ‘Thunderbolts’ will begin filming in June.
The film was officially announced at Disney’s D23 Expo in 2022, and is based around a team of Marvel super villains.
Since ‘The Bear’ aired on Hulu in June 2022, Ayo Edebiri’s career has been on fire. She co-stars with Ben Platt in the movie ‘Theater Camp’. She’ll be seen next in the LGBTQ coming-of-age comedy ‘Bottoms,’ which will be available on Amazon Prime Video later this year.
