Injured Kartik Aaryan no longer part of ASFC match in Singapore

Actor Kartik Aaryan, who is riding high on the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, will no longer be part of a star-studded football match, which is scheduled to take place in Singapore on April 22.

Recently, Kartik injured himself while practising for the match alongside his teammates including Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. When he was trying to defend a goal, the ball hit him hard and he fell on the ground.

A source close to the actor said Kartik got a sprained ankle and a toe-dislocation from the injury during the practice session of the match.

The source added: “Kartik was defending a goal when the ball hit him hard and he fell. At that moment, the injury didn’t seem too serious. He was given first aid and asked to rest it out for the evening.”

On Monday, Kartik’s official spokesperson confirmed the news that he would be no longer participating in the match and that had been advised by doctors to take rest.

“Though the injury is not too severe, he has been advised by the doctor not to exert himself. As a result, it won’t be possible for Kartik to be part of the football match in Singapore,” Kartik’s spokesperson said.

The All Star Football Club, is a charitable football tournament, and the first match will take place at Jalan in Besar stadium between Bollywood actors and Singaporean soccer stars like Rafi Ali, Lim Tong Hai and actors Randall Tan among others.
