The first song from Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh titled “Udta Teetar” is out.
Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Jyoti Nooran, “Udta Teetar” explores the journey of two sisters, Chadro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, as they overcome all odds to perfect their shooting skills.
Featuring Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, and Vineet Kumar Singh, the song shows intense practice sessions of the sharpshooter grannies and their daily life of struggles.

Composed by Vishal Mishra and penned by Raj Shekhar, “Udta Teetar” also features the grannies’ daughters’ sharpshooting sessions.
Bhumi Pednekar shared the song on her official Instagram handle and wrote, “ये गाना हमारे ज़िन्दगी का वोह पन्ना दिखाता है, जिसमे हम जीना सीख रहे थे 🙂 #UdtaTeetar out now (link in bio).”

Saand Ki Aankh has been directed by Tushar Hiranandini and chronicles the real life journey of the sharpshooter dadis from UP who went on to win 352 medals each in the course of their professional careers as shooters.
Saand Ki Aankh also starrs Prakash Jha, Vineet Kumar, Shaad Randhaw and is produced by Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar.
The film is slated to release on Diwali, 25 October 2019.
